Canada to host ‘Braceball’

Iranian short film ‘Braceball’ is slated to vie in Canada.

The film directed by Reihaneh Mortezaeenia, will be screened at the Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival.

The short narrates the story of a disabled child who loves to play football.

Though the boy is disabled, he tries his most to make his dream come true.

‘Braceball’ is a production of the Iranian Youth Cinema Society.

The short has previously won the Best Short Film Theme Childhood award at the 5th Atlantic International Film Festival in Colombia.

The 2020 edition of the event is slated for September 26.
